Reasons To Be An Affiliate Marketer

Here to Stay, If it Evolves it Lasts

For years, people have predicted the collapse of affiliate marketing, but the sector has continued to thrive. According to Statista, affiliate marketing spending in the United States predicted to exceed $8 billion by 2022, up from $1.6 billion in 2010.

What is propelling the affiliate marketing industry forward? In a nutshell, value. Affiliates can generate cash for their advertisers in ways that no other advertising media can. According to SaaS Scout's 2020 Industry Report, affiliate programs account for 15% to 30% of all sales for advertisers. I've seen affiliate partnerships account for up to 40% of new client acquisitions at my own company, which specialized in financial services affiliate marketing.

Affiliate marketing is so powerful that over half of U.S. executive-level marketers said they have more spend control and higher ROI in affiliate marketing than in other paid channels, according to a recent marketer survey. Affiliate marketing networks also gather and select the finest publishers in specific markets to provide advertisers with measurable results.

All of this proves that affiliate marketing isn't dead yet. We'll look at some reasons why affiliate marketing isn't going away anytime soon in this article.

For those that are highly motivated to succeed, affiliate marketing provides endless opportunities to grow and evolve.
